5 Foods For Clear, Glowing Skin

Gone are the days where numerous cosmetic brands claim that their "specially formulated mask" will enable you to achieve that Hollywood glow all the rich and famous celebrities sport. However the truth is great skin is achieved through what you put into your body. No amount of swiss formulated products that cost thousands are going to correct years of bad eating habits such as high sugar and salt consumption, smoking, alcohol ect. Duely to the fact that they can only reach the epidermis part of your skin and not what is below it. However by eating foods that promote cell renewal and and all over clear appearance you can finally see results that last in a matter of weeks.

These are some of my favourite foods to eat that keep my skin clear and glowing. Enjoy!!

1. GREEK YOGURT
I love love love Greek Yogurt for the simple fact that you can incorporate it into your diet in so many ways. I consume Greek Yogurt every morning for my breakfast alongside some granola and berries- not only does it keep me full for a good 4 hours but it also tastes great! If you prefer your yogurt to taste sweeter just add some organic or Manuka honey and let your taste buds explode! I also add it to my curries to make them really thick and creamy but without the added fat!
Consuming Greek Yogurt has many benefits including providing calcium for strong bones, containing riboflavin (vitamin B2), Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 and also protein!

2. BERRIES
Berries are a skin blessing! They are packed with antioxidants which help fight against free radicals that lead to skin cell damage caused by UV exposure, smoke, pollution and other environmental factors.
I love freezing berries such as blueberries and raspberries to then add to smoothies or to eat as a healthy snack to replace sweets.

3.NUTS
Not only are nuts a great source of protein but they are great for your skin! Nuts are well known for containing vitamin E- A vital nutrient for skins elasticity. They also contain Copper, magnesium, manganese, iron, calcium and potassium. They also contain selenium which increase the number of infection fighting white blood cells which in turn helps keep the skin clear from any acne.

4. Avocado
Avocado's are well known for their moisturizing benefits when consumed and put on the skin. This is because they contain high levels if vitamin E which improved the luminosity of skins appearance. Avocado oil can stimulate collagen production keeping the skin supple and younger looking.
I love to add avocados to salads by chopping it in small chunks. I also love to bake slices of avocado and eat with grilled veg and fish.

5. FISH
Don't be afraid of fat in your diet. As long as you are eating the right kinds of fat you will be fine. Fish contains omega 3 which is a vital nutrient in your diet as this helps fortify skin cell membranes, protect against sun damage and even reduce the risks of some skin cancers. Fish fats help keep toxins out of the body and fight inflammation of the skin thus reducing the appearance of acne and eczema.
Make sure you go for grilled fish and stay clear of fish coated in batter and fried.

So there you have my top 5 foods for amazing skin. Needless to say there are tons more foods to eat for clear, glowing skin. As long as you stick to a healthy diet filled with the right nutrients then I'm sure you shall see a difference in your skins overall appearance. And yes of course you can treat yourself once in a while with chocolate or whatever you want! Just make sure it is a treat!

Inspiration Thursday!

So I wanted to start a series of motivational posts for everyone to read! I really think it helps when you're feeling really down to have some sort of motivation to get up and not give up on whatever you want from life. Whether it's a fitness journey, a career path or relationship issues I want to help you realize that you are not alone and that I am here to help you along the way! These posts will consist of my favorite quote of the day and me elaborating on them! I really hope I encourage every single one of you :)

This quote is so right. If all you ever think about is negative thoughts than they will over come you and keep a hold on you to a point where you will not want to do anything at all. Everyday I try and wake up with a smile on my face because rest assure if I wake up positive I can make everything that day become a blessing. If something bad does happen to you just remember everything happens for a reason and just because you may have one bad day does not mean you have to have a bad life. So see the bright side of everything and soon you will see how thinking positively effects not only your self but also others around you. People will try and bring you down but in all honesty, you being happy is something more people will love about you and the happier you are the happier you find the people around you are. Eliminate negative people and negative thoughts because happiness is the key to an amazing life and by seeing the best in everything really makes you the best person you can be.

Beauty Haul

Hello my lovely's! Hope all is well :) So recently I have just finished my exams and as a treat I thought I would treat myself to some new make up that I have been dying to try... and so a hole in my pocket later I have a haul for you! I have been saving money for quite a while now and thought I deserved to have a little splurge so in no way am I trying to boast at what I have bought because it has all come from my own money! Anyway I'll get to it and show you what I have bought! Enjoy :)

MAC eye shadow palette X15: Warm neutral

This was a very unexpected buy for me. Initially I was looking to buy a X15 palette to then fill with gradually as you save an enormous amount of money doing it this way I couldn't not- I still bough a separate empty palette. These retail for £65 here in the UK and are available in "cool neutral" and "warm neutral". I chose to go with the warm colours as I felt they would compliment my olive toned skin nicely. Thi palette contains the colours "Hey, Warm Breeze, Gingernap, Dark Brew, Dance In The Dark, Brule, Vanilla Extract, Honey Lust, Amber Lights, Saddle, Lemon Tart, Creative Copper, Butterfudge, Devine Decadence and Unwind"- all of which look beautiful. I really can't wait until I can use this palette in a tutorial!

Benefit Brow Zings: Medium
Now I am a lover of beautifully groomed eyebrows and so I was looking for a product that would do the job. I've heard a lot of people rave about this duo and wanted to try it out myself. I got the colour medium and I must say so far so good!It retails for £24.50 here which is quite pricey but totally worth the money! The colours are just right for me and stay put all day long. I have only used this a couple of times and am already hugely impressed :)

Benefit Gimme Brow: medium/deep
Next is another eyebrow product that I bought at the airport and am in love with! Now if I'm going out somewhere that doesn't really require me with a full face of makeup or if I am just feeling too lazy to do my eyebrows, this little beauty comes and saves me! It looks super natural when i wear it an literally makes my eyebrows look instantly thicker! I also use it to set my brows in place after I have filled them in and I must say my eyebrow game is pretty strong when wearing this! It's priced at £17.50 however as I got it in duty free it was a little cheaper.

Urban Decay Super-Saturated cream eyeliner: perversion
Okay so hands up if your eyeliner smudges on you throughout the day and makes you look like you haven't slept for year (meeeee) yes we have all experienced the downfall of eyeliner... so in my quest to find an eyeliner that stays put I came across this..it claims to be long wearing and water proof so at the moment as you can see I am trialing it! As I am at up at college and work from 7am till 9 at night I am in need of long eyeliner that stays put. I'm going to do a full review after I have tested this for a couple of weeks to see whether it does the job!

MAC Sheertone Blush: Springsheen
This is another product I picked up from the airport.  I have been wanting to get a coral blush to incorporate into a summer coral makeup look and this is just perfect! It's very subtle which I love but also very buildable for others who prefer a stronger look. Just like the gimme brow I got this for cheaper but in store it is £18.

Stila: In The Light palette

This was a pretty impulse buy because I as in boots and for so long I have wanted to get the eyeliner with this and also the eyeshadow colour kitten and so I took a look at the palette and figured it would make so much more sense to get the palette which is a great value for for you get! It was £25 from boots however when I got home I found that the eyeliner wouldn't twizzle up so I think I'm going to go back and try and get it changed but apart from that all the colours are gorgeous and very well pigmented!

MAC lipstick: Plumful
My last airport buy was this lipstick form MAC in the colour "plumful". I was actually looking for a mauve colour however this really caught my eye and I knew I hadn't already had a colour like this before and so I treated myself to it. As always like any other MAC lipstick this goes on super creamy stays put for a good couple of hours which is fine for me. And of course the smell is phenomenal.. yummy!!

Revlon super lustrous: Kiss Me Coral
Finally a drugstore product! Like I said for my blush, I really anted to create a coral/orangey makeup look and when I saw this I knew it would look beautiful! These come about 7 colours all of which are lovely however some more colours would be fab! They retail for £6.99 at boots. Great pigmentation too!

Urban Decay Chill makeup setting spray
Finally my last product and boy is it a good one! Now, like I have already mentioned I am out for most of the day and I need my make up to stay in place so that is where this comes in! Not only does it make me feel really refreshed if i get too hot but I believe it locks in my makeup (especially foundation) for a really long time! I think this was £20 and I also noticed when I as at the checkout that there were mini sizes too which will be super handy for when I'm travelling!

So as you can see I went a little crazy but all so totally worth it...! I'll be doing reviews of some of the products I have mentioned very soon so keep a look out!

Best Lipstick shades for your skin tone!

So your looking through a magazine and you spot a picture of a celebrity rocking a lip shade and automatically you want to go out and buy it, however when you go to wear it you feel that you just don't quite pull it off... well don't worry everyone has their own skin tone and with these skin tones are colours that flatter and colours that may appear pretty scary to say the least... we've all been there!
However just because some colours may not suit you doesn't mean that you can't find your perfect shade to make you glow! So pucker up whilst I talk you through the colours that flatter your skin tone the most and how to recognise which category you are in!

Firstly lets find out what skin tone you are and then we can get on to the good stuff!
There are three types of under tones that can be determined by the colour of your veins (I find it best looking at my wrists), these are yellow, pink and neutral. If you have yellow undertones you most likely have veins that appear green. On the contrary if you have pink undertones your veins should appear blue. As for neutral under tones you have a bit of both and normally have an olive complexion.

So now we have found out what undertone you are lets talk about your actual skin tone. Your skin tone is the colour of your skin such as; fair, olive, medium, dark ect... and this will help determine the colours that really suit your complexion and make you radiant looking!

Fair
Blue based lipsticks suit most skin tones but particularly fair skin. Wearing the wrong lip stick can really wash your fair skin complexion out, so to avoid this it is great to add a bit of colour. Bright colours such as coral reds love you and will really make your smile pop! If your looking for a nude it's best to go for a shade slightly deeper than your natural colour. By doing so this adds dimension and really brightens your face.

Medium
If you have a medium skin tone then you want colours to enhance your natural glow so by sticking to corals and golden colours this will give you a youthful appearance. My skin tone is between medium and olive and when I tan my favourite colour to wear is coral with slight gold shimmer, it really makes my skin look glowing and healthy! For a more darker colour opt for a brick red, it's classic but it works and really helps excentuate your features.

Olive
Oh olive skin how i love to see you glow! Jennifer Lopez doesn't get her infamous J Lo glow name from anywhere! Her skin naturally glows but by adding the right lippy this really makes her features stand out! I can't help but love olive skin tones as I feel that it's so easy to make olive complexions shine from within. Olive skin is known for having its sexy appeal and lipsticks are only the icing! Olive skin tones are beautiful when paired with cranberry colours and nudes close to your lip colour.

Dark
If you are considered dark skin then I am truly envious of you because you can pull off most shades! You probably have luscious full lips and so bright colour look fab on you as they won't make your lips disappear! Not only that but you can pull of any dark colour as it compliments your skin tone, Now in my opinion you can pull off virtually any lip colour including a pale pink, however dark reds and cranberries will really add a sexy hint to your persona. If your thinking of something a bit more natural than stick to your lip colour but a bit more glossier!

So there you have it! Lip shades to really enhance your beautiful complexion! I hope this helped you out and leave me a comment telling me what skin tone you are and what lipsticks you really love!

My 8 Healthy Food Alternatives

If you're trying to lose weight and tone up or simply just want to eat better up then I'm sure you know exercise alone just won't cut it. In order to fulfil your goals you are in need of a healthy balanced diet, an active lifestyle and a efficient amount of sleep every night. Now I know it's hard if you're a food lover like me to cut out all the foods that you know are bad for you however making a few swaps to your diet can really boost the amount of time it takes you to reach your target healthily. So I've put together a list of the foods I have swapped that have really made a difference to myself mentally and physically.

1) Margarine
There are a couple of foods you can swap Margarine for. Nut butter being one of them- There are many types of nut butter you could use to put on your toast or to make a healthy snack alongside fruit with. One of the best ones I believe is Almond butter which is rich  in potassium, calcium and magnesium making it ideal if you are trying to lose weight as it helps maintain muscle and nerve function which is great when it comes to your workout. Not to mention almonds reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer.

2)Vegetable oils-
Don't be fooled by the term 'Vegetable' as these oils go through many processes including bad substances before it reaches your dinner table making them not so healthy as you would like to think. An alternative for when your cooking is coconut oil- Coconut oil is amazing as it can help you lose weight due to its combination of fatty acids that promote an increase in your metabolic rate it also helps shift stubborn weight surrounding your abdominal area which is one of the hardest places to lose weight. By adding this oil to your diet it suppresses your hunger for a longer period of time meaning you're able to go longer between meals and are less likely to binge on unhealthy foods.

3)Sour cream and fatty yoghurt
Now in the morning and for a snack I do usually like some yoghurt and fruit but some yoghurt's are just too high in sugar and fat making them very bad for you however by swapping to 0 fat Greek yoghurt this can make a huge difference not only to your weight but also your skin, aiding you in a clear complexion. Greek yoghurt contains 0 g saturated fats and cholesterol meaning that you can enjoy this without worrying about your heart health. Greek yoghurt also is packed with more calcium than a glass of milk at 20% you can be sure your bones are being kept strong and not to mention 30% of it is protein making it great for muscle building.. Just like coconut oil, Greek yoghurt makes you feel fuller for longer making it great to set you off in the mornings.
If you want a healthier alternative to sour cream then Greek yoghurt also solves this problem as you can use this on salads, pasta sauces or even over chicken. plus it tastes delicious even with a teaspoon of raw honey drizzled over it!

4)Cows Milk
One cup of whole milk contains 150 calories and contains 8 grams of fat, 5 of which are saturated fats and that really is not good for you. So what I like to use instead is Almond milk ( yay to almonds once again). I use the unsweetened almond milk that contains around 40 calories per glass- a significant decrease to cows milk. Almond milk is high in anti-oxidants and contains no cholesterol or saturated fats. It contains many vitamins and minerals such as copper, zinc, iron, magnesium, manganese, calcium, phosphorus, potassium and selenium. It contains no thing to do with animals making it suitable for vegetarians and vegans and best of all you can make it yourself at home!!

5) Granola
Now I love some granola with my Greek yoghurt from time to time but after I realised that it wasn't that good for me as it contained a lot of sugar I had to look for an alternative. And that is where Buckwheat came in- It contains less calories than gronola and also helps protect against heart disease alongside having numerous health benefits.

6) Sweets and chocolate
I have a major sweet tooth and find it very hard to avoid eating sugary food. Although I do occasional eat sweets and chocolate I try and find better alternatives. To crave my chocolate craving I use... CHOCOLATE! Yes yes I still eat chocolate but I eat dark chocolate that is around 90% cocoa. It's better than any other chocolate as it filled with anti oxidants and less calories making it a healthy alternative. For my sweet tooth I like to eat frozen fruit such as raspberries and grapes.. I know they're not completely the same but they give you the same taste plus are great for your weight! My favourite thing to do with frozen fruit is using it over oatmeal and also dipping it in dark chocolate for a treat!

7) Milky Tea or Coffee
Try swapping your commercial coffee or milky tea for a herbal tea such as green tea which is packed with anti-oxidants that reduce the risk of cancer and aid in a healthy diet and did I metion contains no calories!! If you don't like pure green tea there are many flavours you can get such as my favourite lemon or pomegranate! If you have to stick with milky tea swap to Almond milk and do the same for coffee. Try to avoid syrups that are filled with artery blocking cholesterols and sugar that are also high in calories.

8) Red Meat
There are tons of alternatives to red meat that are uncountable healthier. why don't you try swapping your red meat to a healthier breast of chicken or turkey which contains less fat. If you love fish then swap it for fish- fish contains a great source of omega 3 and protein. If you want to be really healthy try quorn- It's a vegetarian option and simply delicious.

So there are my healthier alternatives that I feel really have made a difference to my body! Remember the key to looking good on the outside is keeping our insides happy with a healthy active lifestyle!

Michael Todd Charcoal Detox Pore Gel Face Wash Review

Charcoal Detox Cleanser

As promised from my January favourites is my review on this product! This cleanser is literally incredible! Before I owned this I had heard some pretty good reviews about it especially off Tanya Burr who initially persuaded me to purchase this, I am so glad I did because now it makes my skin care routine a lot more quicker and just fab!
I bought this from the Michael Todd website about April time, however we had a few difficulties getting it to my house and so I received this 5 months after it was supposed to arrive. Although I understand that it was not the companies fault but my countries mailing system... surprise surprise! Apart from that downside of the time it took to get here I really don't have anything bad to say about this product.
Cost
It retails for $23 (£14 roughly) which is a little bit pricey for a cleanser however I really believe that you get what you pay for in terms of this product which contains 210ml/ 7/1 fl oz. I bought my cleanser in a set that contained a serum, toner, scrub, mask and this- It cost me around £45 which I thought was brilliant and saved me a lot of money! They all go hand in hand with one another and are all great products although this one is my favourite. I have been using this since September every single day and am about half way through the bottle- a little goes a long way for definite with this.
Packaging
I really like the packaging to this cleanser- The colour purple makes it seem different and unique just like their other products. Mine came with a pump wish I found handy when in the shower as it allowed me to control how much I used although I now notice that they have changed their packaging to a flip top to reduce leakage however that was never a problem with my bottle and I'm not sure if I would prefer a flip top as it may be a bit more fiddly, and if you're like me I always break the caps so I'm not really sure how I feel about the new packaging. Despite that I love how efficient my current bottle is.
Product
Now I know I've said a bazillion times how amazing this cleanser nevertheless I shall rave a bazillion and one time more.. this product claims to 'Gently remove dirt, oil, makeup and impurities without residue or irritation'- this statement I completely agree with. This removes every last bit of makeup I have on my skin leaving it feeling fresh and clean without leaving a tight feeling or any irritation.
I have normal/combination skin. I get a couple of break outs here and there around that time of the month but apart from that my skin remains clear all year round- be that as it may my skin never used to be as clear... I used to suffer from dry patches and hormonal breakouts all the time whilst I was in secondary school and it really knocked my confidence but I found that using this along with my other skin care products and a healthy diet really improved my skin for the better! Now I am not afraid to go bare skin to the gym, shopping wherever really!
It is a black/grey colour hence the name 'charcoal which I think is cool because I don't know many cleansers that colour however when lathered on my skin it turns clear as seen below.

Overall I definitely recommend this product for any body who has acne or oil prone skin or maybe someone like me who wanted to get rid of those pesky breakouts and those small under the skin bumps (if you know what I mean) as it really does cleanse deeply and is totally worth the money. Not too mention 70% of its ingredients are organic which I am for sure pleased to know that I am not putting harmful chemicals onto my skin which in turn can cause various skin and health problems.

January Favourites...

I feel that January is one of the best months to try new products being as it is right after Christmas. So especially as my birthday was in January too it's fair to say I was spoiled with new products. These are the things I have been loving in the month of January... enjoy!

Naked 3 palette-
So if you haven't heard about this then WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! I am so in love with this palette, you can create the most gorgeous romantic and sultry looks with this! I must say urban decay have once again done me proud! It's based around rose gold colours which are perfect for any eye colour! I love the packaging too as it represnts the classiness of the palette. A personal favourite colour in this is 'trick' I just love the golden flex it has and I think it looks beautiful on the lid.

MAC lipstick in 'Viva Glam I'-
I am soooo in love with this lipstick!! It's a  wine red colour which I thought was perfect for winter time especially in the evenings. I find this colour is just very sexy and paired with a simple cat eye, this can blow people away. Now because it's a matte colour it can be slightly drying so I suggest loading up on the lip balm before hand to lock in moisture but apart from that it is very long wearing so it's perfect if you want a lipstick that won't budge for the night especially as it is a dark colour and you really don't want that smudging because I can guarantee it would be a nightmare to remove! Beautiful colour, definitely one of my favourite MAC lipsticks!

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail paint in 'lychee'-
Now this may look like a boring colour but I promise you, whilst on your nails this is just THE perfect nude colour! I was searching for a colour like this for ages after seeing someone wearing it so when I came across this I thought to myself 'I need this!!!' and so here it is in my monthly favourites... and so it deserves to be!
Revlon lipgloss in 'Super Natural'-
When Revlon came out with their new line of lip glosses originally this colour was not the one that caught my eye however recently I was swatching all their colours and this one really appealed to me. Now you can wear this alone and it looks gorgeous or you can pair it with a lipstick (I like to pair it with MACs creme cup) for a more glossy finish to a lip colour. This for me is just a beautiful nude colour to wear with an intense smokey eye and I really enjoy wearing this when I go out!
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream-
Now I have already done a review on this and even then a raved about this and I shall continue to do so until the day I die... No words can explain how amazing this cream is. I don't know about other skin types but for me this is my holy grail- I used to have very problematic skin but since using this my skin is the most flawless it has ever been! If you want to read my full review on this I shall leave the link here: http://sinead-quigley-beauty-fashion.blogspot.com/2013/11/elizabeth-arden-eight-hour-cream.html

Michael Todd Charcoal Cleanser-
Apart from the fact I waited 5 MONTHS for this to arrive I have to say it was pretty much worth the wait. I first heard of this from Tanya Burr who I think had it in one of her skin care or favourites videos.. anyway this is amazing!! I use it mainly at night as I want to use it sparingly plus it is awesome for taking all my make up including eye makeup plus it remains gentle enough to not cause any irritation. Oh and not to mention the fact it contains organic ingredients which is totally cool! I'm going to do a full post review on this because it has too many fab things to write in a short space but yeah this is exceptional and well worth its place on here!
Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction Shimmer Mist-
I love me some Victoria Secret and their scents are no exception. What I love about this though bar the amazing smell of red plum and freesia is the snazzy sparkles in it! Now I know not everyone will be a fan of looking like a fairy however I really appreciate it! I usually spray it over my legs, arms and decollete for the 'sensational glow'.. I always get compliments when I wear this due to its phenomenal scent and some people think it's really cool that it has shimmer!
Tangle Teaser-
Oh how this little thing saved me from having to chop off inches off of my hair.. If you haven't heard of these then I shall fill you in. A Tangle Teaser is a brush that is specific to detangle hair without tugging, yanking, or generally easing all the painful feelings linked towards having to brush typically knotted hair. For me this is a life saver- as I have pretty long thick hair it is no surprise I have to deal with my hair getting knotted all of the time. However this brush works wonders when untangling my hair and preventing snagging and split ends. I really recommend to anybody who has trouble brushing their hair to go out and buy one of these. Also if you are a mum and your child detests having their hair combed (like me when I was younger), Tangle Teaser also do brushes specifically for children that may I also add look really cool. You can thank me later!
Sleek Blush in Rose Gold-
I fell in love with this colour when I was browsing in Superdrug and I came across the sample of this blush. Firstly this is very similar to Nars orgasm except with a slightly more peachy undertone however it is a fraction of the cost and near enough as good of quality. This looks absolutely amazing on your skin  due to its luminescence from the shimmer, although if you're not a fan of shimmer I would not recommend this for you. But as for me I love this and when I wear it I just feel all glowy!

Real Techniques Setting Brush-
I love virtually all the real technique brushes and not just because they were created by a fellow blogger but because they are seriously some of the best brushes to have ever been made. I had to include this setting brush because without it my under eyes would not be looking so pretty. I use this brush to set my concealer alongside the Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder and oh my days this works wonders. I feel that the shape of this brush is great to get into the corners and all the awkward bits that a bigger brush may struggle to reach. Thumbs up towards this great job Samantha Chapman!
Benefit PORE fessional-
Another massively raved product that I could not miss is this Porefessional primer. Now my pores are not massive however they are noticeable when up close and I believe this balm really does help to minimize them which overall helps me achieve a more flawless finish to my makeup. You can wear this under make-up as a primer or even on its own without makeup if you don't feel like going all out but want something to help your skin look better. I won't go on too much about this as I am sure you have heard it all before but this by favourite primer of all time.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation-
I will be doing a full blog post review on this because this foundation is just flawless... I first got this as a sample to use for my prom foundation and from the moment I applied it I was gob smacked at how perfect it made my skin look. It is a medium to full coverage foundation in my opinion however I don't use too much of it (a sample bottle lasted me 3 months) because I feel a little goes a long way with this. My colour is in 'rattan' and it matches my skin perfectly. They have a wide range of colours so you are bound to find your shade. Anyway I will go into full detail about this on my review and give a tutorial of how I apply it.

So there you have it my Monthly Faves! Leave a comment on what you have been loving, it would be great to hear and try some new things!

DIY Lash Enhancer

Long, Thick and Full lashes... every girl wants them! But thanks to genetics I never used to have amazing eyelashes and to make matters worse for my prom preparations I went to a salon to have eyelash extensions applied which turned out to have been applied by a beautician who had not be trained to do eyelash extensions, so as you can imagine it was a bit of a bodged job as she applied the wrong type of lashes that literally took half my eyelashes out when they fell off sooo I was in dyer need to regrow my lashes back stringer and faster than ever. Now, I use a lot of different oils in my hair which keep it really healthy and strong so I one day thought why not try an oil on my eyelashes and see if this will make them longer and thicker. I knew Almond oil was incredible for hair and as its natural it wouldn't damage my lashes. And wow... without a doubt my eye lashes have become not only longer but also stronger with less likeliness to fall out as much!! I could not be more thank full towards an oil!

So this is just how I prepare it and apply it :)

1) I just use an ordinary Almond oil from the supermarket, this one is for cooking but it really does not matter!

2) I then take a small jar just so it's handy to go on my vanity with my other creams so I can apply it whilst putting on my creams and serums.
3) Pour a bit into your jar and ensure the lid is on when you aren't using it.
3) To apply is I just use an old mascara wand that I thoroughly cleaned to ensure it was safe to use. You can use your fingers or a cotton swab to apply it but I just find this way is easier to coat all your lashes :)
4) Then just dip the wand into the oil and coat your lashes!

I apply this every night before I go to bed to ensure that it nourishes my lashes throughout the night!

A good thing abut Almond oil is it's also very versatile as it's great for removing left over eye makeup! I just use a cotton swab after I've cleansed my face to get rid of any left over makeup!

Thanks for reading, I hope this was helpful!
